We didn’t know this service existed until we received a message by a student asking: “Is freshessays com legit?” We checked the website, and it looked pretty fresh with the green shades and the nice photos of attractive students. We were immediately intrigued. Yes, this is a legit service that delivers papers for students. Are they good enough for you? Maybe… if you’re ready to pay an extremely high price and you settle for average quality at the same time.

Criteria #1: Range of Writing Services Offered (Mark - 17/20)
FreshEssays.com has a wide range of services that includes papers from several areas of study. There isn’t a clean list at the website, but we got enough information from the Our Services section. In short, these are some of the papers a student can order at the website: assignment, business plan, article, case study, coursework, annotated bibliography, research paper, report, essay, dissertation, personal statement, research proposal, thesis proposal, term paper, summary, speech, and review.
The company does not work on online assignments, but it can offer problem-solving and multiple choice answers for special pricing (which is quite high).
Criteria #2: Pricing, Discounts & Payment Policy (Mark - 13/20)
The prices for the longer deadlines (14 days, 10 days, and 6 days) seem reasonable. However, as the deadlines get shorter, the prices grow with great progression. The quotes for Undergraduate, Bachelor, and Professional level are still acceptable, but Admission Help is incredibly expensive (the prices start from $38 and go up to $113 per page).
There is a Money Back policy, but you have a limited opportunity to ask for a refund. When we read the terms and conditions, we realized we couldn’t ask for our money back if we received a bad paper. The company only refunds money in case of missed deadlines.
Criteria #3: Quality Evaluation (Mark - 14/20)
FreshEssays is not a bad custom-writing service. However, it’s not the best one we’ve tried. We ordered a 5-page essay sample with a simple theme: Ernest Hemingway’s life and work. The writer focused on Hemingway’s life and he went on and on for his drinking problems, but there wasn’t enough analysis of his work. We did get one revision, which didn’t make a big difference.
For a price this high, we really expected to get a much more impressive paper based on our precise instructions. Although there were no grammar and syntax issues within the paper, it lacked a serious dose of creativity.
Criteria #4: Customer Support (Mark - 13/20)
There is a lot of space for improvement in terms of customer support. We had to provide a name and email to start chatting with a representative, and even then we had to wait 10 minutes for an answer. The Skype call feature is fine if you’re comfortable talking with a representative, but you’ll still need to wait for a while before an agent responds.
The agent we talked to was not very friendly. When we tried to find out something more about the revision program, she just told us to read the Terms of Use section at the website.
Criteria #5: Customers Reviews (Mark - 13/20)
