NOLA's best seen in photos, so here goes! My fifteen best TUnola13 IGs...
A little morning coffee break at Cafe du Monde
What NOLA track focusing on performing in New Orleans would be complete without a stop at Mardi Gras World? Complete with some MG costumes.
Spotted! Tulane flag on a French Quarter balcony.
Good ol Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral. Fun fact- she's the oldest continuously operating cathedral in the United States.
Made a stop at New Orleans Printmaking and Glass and made these killer decorative pieces of paper.
And then our very own glass Mardi Gras beads.
Day four- headed to the thrift shop, popped some tags and wound up with these incredible (and homemade) Mardi Gras costumes. My students will be all set come March.
Oh, and we danced in the streets. A lot. I got a few moves, too.
Spent a lot of time in the beautiful Marginy, home to all kinds of great street, stage and screen kinds of things, including the New Movement improv troop, a group we got a private performance from.
Inside of St. Louis Cathedral
Visiting a masquerade store.
Some of the ladies in Jackson Square
Spencer from San Diego showing off his jumping skills.
Speaking of jumping...
Then... everyone else got here!
