A little morning coffee break at Cafe du Monde |
What NOLA track focusing on performing in New Orleans would be complete without a stop at Mardi Gras World? Complete with some MG costumes. |
Spotted! Tulane flag on a French Quarter balcony. |
Good ol Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral. Fun fact- she's the oldest continuously operating cathedral in the United States. |
Made a stop at New Orleans Printmaking and Glass and made these killer decorative pieces of paper. |
And then our very own glass Mardi Gras beads. |
Day four- headed to the thrift shop, popped some tags and wound up with these incredible (and homemade) Mardi Gras costumes. My students will be all set come March. |
Oh, and we danced in the streets. A lot. I got a few moves, too. |
Spent a lot of time in the beautiful Marginy, home to all kinds of great street, stage and screen kinds of things, including the New Movement improv troop, a group we got a private performance from. |
Inside of St. Louis Cathedral |
Visiting a masquerade store. |
Some of the ladies in Jackson Square |
Spencer from San Diego showing off his jumping skills. |
Speaking of jumping... |
