1) In London, do the Eye. It is touristy and mainstream, but so worth it. Just spring for the extra speedy pass. The view is stunning. I really loved London- if the weather is great, the city can't be beat.
2) Eat sushi from the bar in Harrod's. Okay, two very touristy destinations in a row, yes, but man, that was good sushi.
3) Climb Le Chateau in Nice. The view cannot be beat. Do the same in Monte Carlo, climb to the Palace and the Musee Oceanographic.
4) Eat dinner at The Guinea in London. Man this place is good.
5) Don't go to the top of the Eiffel Tower, nor Notre Dame. Lines are too long. Instead, do what we did- climb to the top of the Arc du Triomphe. We had no line, and man, that was some view.
Here are some of my Instagrams from the trip. This post has absolutely nothing do to with the Office of Admission or Tulane (much like my previous vacation post) but I thought I would let you all know where I have been. Much more coming up for you class of 2018-ers, my tips, more alumni and neighborhood profiles coming soon, stay tuned. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer!
Here is the view from the top of the Arc du Triomphe. Glorious! |

Cool Jungle gym at the top of the Chateau hike in Nice. I am basically an adult 14 year old. |
Ah yes, City of Love. A couple I snuck a shot of while I was running along La Seine. |
