
I spent a lot of time detailing Mardi Gras in my previous Gras posting, it's a good read to find out a little bit about the two different types of Mardi Gras. This year I again rode in the Krewe of Bacchus, one of the three main SuperKrewes of the weekend. The Bacchus Ball that is the culmination of the parade is attended by over 10,000 people, 60 of which were in my group, nearly all Tulane alumni. I think it goes without saying that you can take the Tulanian out of New Orleans, but you'll never take the New Orleans out of the Tulanian.
